Description

Credit Analyst

Description

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for reviewing credit history and information of potential and current clients, specifically AOR clients. The analysis process includes qualitative (borrower, industry, transaction metrics, etc.) and quantitative (credit history statements, projections, sensitivity scenarios, etc.) analyses of transactions. The individual will be expected to have skills in financial statement spreading and review, knowledge of credit agency reports, cash flow analysis, leverage and debt repayment capacity, risk evaluation, collateral valuation and other necessary skills.

Responsibilities

  • Make credit recommendations based on account analysis.
  • Work with sales associates in establishing new accounts and assigning credit limits and terms by checking bank, financial, and trade references.
  • Responsible for reviewing delinquent accounts and advising the sales department on any necessary changes.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with collections and account reconciliation
  • Must have the ability to analyze various clients credit history
  • Preparing necessary credit analysis and approval documentation for executive management
  • Recommendation of credit proposals, structures and pricing
  • Review and interpret credit history along with outside credit agency reports (D&B, Equifax, etc…)
  • Analysis of large and complex potential and existing credit
  • Previous lending or corporate credit analysis experience required
